…and it looks great. As do the shave and sideburns.
Thanks, dude [emoji120][emoji120] Maintaining the beard, while wearing masks, with all the barbershops being closed was proving to be a bit tiresome[emoji610][emoji40]

I hear you. I have been spared mask wearing on the whole until recently, and while it still isn’t required or even recommended in my part of Norway, I now choose to use one in peinlic buildings, shops, etc. Hearing aids and glasses make it very crowded behind my ears and very foggy in front of eyes.

Didn't this use to be called IH-526L-V2? Did the V2 drop with the latest run?
What about, https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5004.0
Curious minds…..

Perhaps they dropped the V2 because it's been 3-4 years? But I don't know for sure.

…about six months of almost daily wear...

@Alex_24 your size is XXXXL? May I ask your height and weight? I am 6'3" at about 210lbs. I'm thinkinging XXXL would be my size. Your fades look awesome man.
Will this 19oz fade similarly to the original 19oz Type III? It is a different denim, correct? Reason I ask is bc @twin has one of the best looking jackets I've seen on here.

Will this 19oz fade similarly to the original 19oz Type III? It is a different denim, correct?...6‘3, 240… linebacker/tight-end size... I wear 4XL in all IH shirts and jackets, the only exception being the windbreakers which have larger proportions [emoji41]
Can’t say about the previous version of the denim… never saw it in-person... [emoji2369]
All I can say is I am glad I got mine [emoji106][emoji106]
As the product description says, it’s “the toughest Type III” in the IH repertoire [emoji1014] -
I'm becoming more and more aware that am growing into a much larger body (in my 30s) than in my 20s. I'm thinking sizing up two from my old size (XL) will be enough to actually button up the jacket. Also will be able to shrink it if needed. I'm thinking sizing up just one to XXL won't be enough with this jacket, especially after how nicely my 17oz Duck CPO fits me. I guess that kind of opened my eyes to how garments should really fit.
@Giles cool, that is what I was hoping you would have said.

Hot wash, but the key is gonna be wearing it buttoned at the bottom before it dries. Time the wash so that a few hours later, you can walk around in daylight and do things in it while it’s slightly damp. If it shrinks in the wash, hopefully the stretch from the post wash wear will stretch it back where it needs to be.

I’m assuming that’s directed to me?
They are always “hard” to button when new, but the reason to put it on and at least button the bottom button (two would probably be better) and wear around is so that you can stretch it out to fit your needs. The best time to do that is when it is still damp. Otherwise you are at the mercy of the shrink, which might be too much or might be just enough, you won’t know until you try. If you hang it to dry and then take it down while damp and wear it buttoned, at least you can use that resistance to bend over and move around and squat to help the bottom hem stretch a bit if it shrinks too much for your liking.
