3.5 year update, the time really flies.
I bought this in 2017 hoping for a hoodie that would last, this has not disappointed and I have not purchased another hoodie since.
Not much has changed from the last update (other than covid), I still wear this daily in the cool and cold months. It's the first thing I put on in the morning with a pair of sweats for my morning routine before the denim and button-ups come out for work.
Cuffs continue to disintegrate, but other than that I think this will easily go another 3.5 years.
Cheers to IH toughness!

Can anyone tell me if the material stretches/is forgiving over time with lots of wabi sabi wear?
I only ask bc I just received my size L and all measurements are perfect except for just very slight armpit tightness when hoodie is zipped. It is my understanding the hoody will NOT shrink with a wash so I assume it will only conform/stretch to my body dimensions better with wear(cotton should be pretty forgiving right?). Im probably just overthinking and experiencing the new "out of the box" feeling.
I'm leaning against exchanging for size XL, since I don't want a longer body or sleeve length. Any experience will be much appreciated.

May I make the dreaded restock query?
To make amends for the "when might we see…" question I offer as penance what might be the best single rock' n' roll performance live ever, right here:
