Yes but for nostalgia rather than liking a particular tree for looks or whatever.
Horse chestnut or conker tree as we call them in the UK. Used to have conker fights with them and attempt to cheat by hardening them with questionable tactics passed on from brother to brother -
I hear that. We used to have acorn fights. Hurt like hell. Those horse chestnuts look worse though.
Most of my Major studies in college focused on forestry. I could post pictures of my favorites for days

As far as native trees go, I really like the Texas Madrone Trees (Arbutus xalapensis)

I had the opportunity to see some of the rainbow eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta) last time I was in Costa Rica and they're an amazing exotic tree:

This is a complete work in progress shot and it looks like crap right now but we have 3 rows of grapes. One row of ever-bearing raspberries and one row of golden raspberries. The three boxes will be full of perennial veggies and there’s kiwis planted along the large round trellis.

I've noticed a more praying mantis this year in Annapolis than I feel like I've ever seen. Also saw a couple Luna Moths. We had the Brood X cicada scourge this year, and since I think all insects are going nuts. Seeing a Mantis is always somehow cool
Both at the front door to my apartment:
