Best of luck to England fans tomorrow. I’d imagine there is quite a bit of excitement brewing.
As a national team neutral I’ve had my doubts watching them this tournament but the performances against Germany and Ukraine were impressive. The Danes are going to work very hard and they are no mugs, so its going to be a tougher one than some people expect.
As for tonights game, I struggle to see anything other than a win for Italy, but I’m crossing fingers for Spain.

"Gareth Southgate, the whole of England is with you!"
True in 96, ever more so tonight!

@Seul in the nicest way possible lay off, not the time to be rub it in pal. Both sides played well, Italy played dirtier and arguably should have been down to ten men and it's always a crap way to finish a game on penos. Anyway, not a time to rub it in…

Fundamentally disagree on the Denmark penalty, they'd been asking for it for a while… Hone advantage is a fair point, but they're all pros... The coin toss on the penos is a bigger advantage, just a shame for it to end like that. I think my overarching point is that it was hardly a commanding performance and didn't end gloriously, so rubbing it in isn't the kindest. Anyway, no harm no foul

I suppose a windup is a windup, and if someone gets wound up… well it was probably me because I'm emotionally unstable (and drunk) ::)
