Who's up for a story?
about a month ago, I was browsing Grailed not looking for anything in particular when I came across a pair of the sickest Wesco boss boots I had seen in a while. Brand new, never worn, the guy had to sell em because his wife thought he had to many boots already.
I made an offer, he accepted and when I send the payment trough the PayPal pipeline, I noticed the guy’s name in the email address. The name rang a bell and after a quick google search I found that there is an American stuntman with that name and in fact, it’s one of the best Mexican - American stuntmen around with some impressive movies like ‘Ironman’, ‘Star Trek’, ‘The Grey’ and my personal favorite ‘Crank II’. The guy even wrote and directed his own movie called ‘El Chicano’.
When I asked if he was indeed a famous Hollywood stuntman. He grinned (in my head) and confirmed it.
Today, after 6 weeks of looking every day on the USPS website, I finally got the boots in the mail. Personally I think they are insanely cool on their own, but the fact that they were custom build by one of the hardest working, most badass people in Hollywood who had to sell them because his wife told him to, is like a perfect black roughout cherry on top :D.

Look at those!
Love that colourway @Giles, is that a bespoke order?

You pulled off getting us the purple horse engineers @Giles. I’m assuming something in olive (burlap, horse, or CXL) for the shaft would be more readily available than the purp. Or possibly switch it up with an olive vamp & counter and a brown shaft. I’m in on whatever you come up with. John
