IHJ-64-BLK - Horsehide Modified Type III Jacket - Black (Tea-Core Dyed)
-
Love this coat, it’s one of my favourites out of my closet. The only complaint I have would be the cuffs, I have to unbutton them in order to get my hands through. They really should have a bit more room in the forearm to accommodate a wider cuff, this is the only coat I’ve ever had this issue with. Going by photos it looks like others have the same issue - wondering why they made it so tight like this?

I have to have the cuff buttons undone on every single Type III I have ever owned (or tried on) - I have big hands. But like @Kasi , I never button them up anyway.
The wider the cuff, the wider the arm, the less fitted the arm will look and the more flapping you will get on a bike.

Is there a restock in the current schedule?

Excellent - thanks! I have this one in my FW21 budget and just waiting for my size to restock so I can get some break-in time in it prior to SS22.

IH Team - Any chance a size xs would be released? Or maybe something with a size small dimension similar to the IHSB-EXT-NAT? Looking at the dimensions of the past release - the small ran a little big and the sleeves very long. I have to do a half roll of my IH size small and xs type 3s with an inch less sleeve length and a considerably smaller shoulder dimension so I’m assuming the sleeve length on these is not going to work - unless the elbow creases that develop over time take up that much extra sleeve length. Some advice appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback Giles. Possibly the dimensions on the upcoming restock will overall run a little smaller - to my advantage - but it sounds as though this jacket may not work out in terms of arm length regardless. Bummer - but my bank account is happy (for now).

Any production runs planned? Looks like it took 18 months between the last 2 restocks, so I’m guessing no - but you don’t know if you don’t ask.

Is it blasphemous that i'm considering getting one of these and asking a tailor to take the arms off? i feel like it would make a wicked vest.
