Watches - another OCD problem

@Graeme I like that CK 859. What was your overall impression re: fit/finish? Also curious about the future of patina. Are there any clues on how it will patina? Like silver?
Oh…and watch out for the snakes, spiders, kangaroos, don’t go swimming, and for your ultimate safety…please watch out for drop bears. I hear they are ferocious.
Hope you’re doing well! I really laughed at the train sign picture.

CK859 all the way, @Graeme. I'm someone who wear a 50 year old watch daily while running on trails and when I shower so … I say screw it and take a chance on the 30m WR. I'm into it.

I agree, my X33 is only 30m but I’m not afraid to take it around water. There are a couple guys on WUS, that routinely swim with speedy pros. I

@goosehd I did have this little fellow wandering around the house a few weeks ago. He was around five inches across.
And there was a brown snake in the park the other day, though it slithered off as I approached…
The CK 859 has a simple case design, and I didn't notice any obvious blemishes. I thought that it looked a bit better finished than the other Omegas I saw, but bear in mind that it was a prototype and might not be representative of the production pieces.
The movement is pretty.
@henry_david and @Anesthetist, I think that the water resistance would be fine. I used to take my Breitling diver's watch off to do the dishes, and that could go down to a thousand metres, so it's not like I'll be swimming or showering with it.

A quick pet peeve about Omega. I HATE that tiny line of text above the hand set that signifies the ceramic dial or in this case, silver. It’s supposed to be unobtrusive but I cant not see it.

It was unobtrusive until @Anesthetist pointed it out :). Now I’ve seen it, I agree it’s horrible.

That’s gorgeous!

Fortis have just released the Stratoliner, a chronograph designed for spaceflight that was launched to the stratosphere as a
publicity stuntpart of a rigorous testing programme.Snarkiness aside, I like the clean dial. It's a 41 mm case with a 200 metre depth rating. Price is around $5000 or €5000, depending on the strap or bracelet choice.
Monochrome have more details and pictures of the different dial colours.

You have to pay 5,000 dollars or euros depending on strap or bracelet? Depending on the exchange rate, that could make for an interesting game!

damn, looking good. I especially like the Tudor & Rolex .
