Watched E1 of "Reacher" and enjoyed it.

Wasn't nuts about the first ep of S02 of Raised by Wolves, but I'll keep at it.
I know it's not really that big of a deal, but one thing that bugged me was the CG stuff. I liked how the first season got by on story and didn't need to lean on VFX, so the attempts at fancier visuals in the first episode sort of disappointed me in a weird way.
Anyway, I'll get over it… just hope the plot's strong.

Watched the first 4 of Raised by Wolves and I'm still into it, though I agree it wasn't as instantaneously intriguing as s1, but that's par for the course with a second of something. Acting is still good and I'm curious how they'll keep Marcus/Caleb's story going

Dude, I just saw the craziest shit on Netflix. It’s a Japanese show called Old Enough where a film crew follows around 3 year olds that are walking all across town on errands for their parents. This one kid had a flag his mom made him so he could use it to stop traffic on the 4 lane road he had to cross. His diaper was full as hell. He forgot the curry so he had to go back. I was dying.
-
God that sounds insane haha… I don't know if I could watch! Although I guess you go in knowing the kid's gonna be alright
@Joberwocky we never circled back about RBW — feeeeeck it got good, or at least I thought so. Did you finish?
-
@popvulture I certainly did finish it, and agree it ended on a high note. I hope they keep the show going, though maybe only for a season or two longer so the story can stay tighter. Seems like they'll start tying together a lot of the weird lore in S3
-
Yep, very interested in where they go next with that. I wanna know more about what’s down the creepy hole…

Man, Jon Bernthal is SUCH a good actor, fantastic bad guy. He's got that Bawmer accent down, it seems
-
Just started "Station 11" and it' seems like it's gonna get real interesting
-
Just read up on the very creative and interesting premise and will have to investigate–thank you @JDelage
Been digging Love Death and Robots. Weird, dark, entertaining. Season 3 had my favorite one yet, involving a large, sentient crab.

Counterpart is amazing — I just wish it could’ve gone on longer
Station Eleven is super super good too, and so is the book. One of those instances where the adaptation diverted a bit, but it was somehow just as good.

Finished the season of Station 11 and loved it.
Beautifully self contained story that, while somewhat bleak now and again, paid some fan service towards the end and was surprisingly hopeful. I need more quality scifi in my life, especially with the cancelation of Raises By Wolves.
I might go check out the book
