I think the only way we can truly reach peaceful coexistence is continuing to take a step at a time even through adversity.  Life sucks, it's hard, blah, blah, blah…we may not be able to change the world in a day, but we can try to make it a little better for the next generation.

It ain't work, Matt… I know you didn't mean it that way either but... It's truly the massive passion and force I've kept from growing up with hc and punk music... And growing up with brown lads... The fucking shit they had to go through on a daily basis... Something I remember very vividly: a supermarket cashier who didn't want to accept Rachid's money in her hand... That's a lad's pride fucked with... Fucking hardest working fellow I've ever met to boot...

I am now 25 years older, and have beautiful POC family... Half-Morrocan and half-Iranian... I was always pretty diplomatic, calm, reserved,... But now I feel like I've just come to the point where I cannae accept any of this shit anymore...
