Spunds like a plan @Daniel San But do soak them with the shower head first and flip them inside out. Then wash with no or very low spin.

@neph93
Yes Sir, learned a lot here
soak all my IH clothing before I put them in the machine!
what would you recommend ? washing alone in the machine or with something else , a hoodie for example. -
@Kasi
I think it will tear of my skin on the back of my knees when breaking in
hope it will get a bit softer with inital washing, when all the starch is out…. -
-
@Kasi
I hope so
they feel like carton now
what inseam shrinkage did you get ? It says up to 1 inch , did you remember how much yours shrank? -
This will give you a idea.
On mine 25oz 666
I soak them hot water, end up at 35 inches.
Send Gosport got them to 34 inches.
Wash them 40 degrees end up with 33 inches.
Kept them little long the hems will burst with holes at some point
I will take one inches off again…
Make them last longer
-
inseam should be around 77/78 cm (30,3-30,7 " inch) in the end.
will send them for hemming tomorrow
maybe it´s a better idea to wash them before then -
wash 2 times ?
-
@Kasi
first attempt to soak them in the baby tub
while getting the pair , Gretchen was faster !
ok now their soaking, 40 degrees
-
soaked for about one hour and then washed with 40 degrees, special jeans washing program
started stretching right after wash, maybe it will be a bit easier to wear in the beginning -
@Kasi
Just checked measurements !
Inseam shrinkage is 1,3" , wow ! Didn’t expect that much !
The rest is pretty much the same .
Tried them on , all buttons easy to close
Waist is perfect, think the stretching after washing was a good idea !
It’s around 38 degrees outside ( 100F ) , did a short walk around the house
Unbelievable how I started sweating, almost didn’t get them off .
Holy smokes, this will be challenging
Now they leave for hemming -

Yes I know, that’s why I use mink oil . From my experiences they will not get that dark. Stay pretty much like they are now
Tried Obenaufs too, but made the patch much to dark. Not cool
Here’s the tag from my 18oz vintage , washed a lot and used mink oil . Perfect in my opinion
