@Mizmazzle any update on the pre-post measurements? I just received the same shirt and hoping that I can shrink the sleeve length and cuff width a bit. Curious if you found the shirt to shrink at all. I'm inclined to try hot drying mine as well.

One of the reasons I buy the western shirt is exactly for the sleeves long size, for me, fit me perfect like a glove and also love it the size. and is the reason I use less my momotaros or ues shirts or work shirts in general

A hot wash and dry will shrink this shirt about 0.5” in all major dimensions.

Hey @stook1 its line drying as I type. Did a second wash. I’ll post the results in a few hours. Wanted to do two hot washes per some other members experiences on this thread. Did get about 1/3” shrinkage all around on the first wash/ line dry. Curious to see where it lands on the second.

Thanks guys, did a hot soak in the tub with the hottest water that I have, which is about 120F. Then I decided to give it a near boil on the stove. And now I gave it a hot dry in the dryer. It's almost done. Let's see how it is now. I have some room to spare throughout.
Edit: …. and done. Unfortunately, I failed to take before measurements, haha ::) However, I definitely got some shrinkage all around. Main issue for me was the sleeves and cuffs, both of which are a little smaller. Shoulders and torso also came in a bit. Noticeably better fit for me now.
