Thank you! I appreciate the recommendation as the 1955 was not on my radar but I'll keep an eye out!

Hi fellow Iron Hearts. I'm new to the group and a true novice in denim world. I live in Bend, OR and work medicine (G.I., yes get your colonoscopy), have a gorgeous labrador retriever, ride a BMW R1200 GSA, and my fun hobby is also my main mode of exercise…. cycling.
Breaking in my new pair of IH 666S and have one of those sweet western Wabash shirts in transit.
Considering: trucker jacket, 777's in 14oz and maybe.... a pair of the 1955's assuming I don't skip leg day too often.
Thanks for providing this forum.

Thanks for providing this forum.
Thanks for joining and for the great intro. May I ask, why the Telemark reference?
-
Very nice intro @TelemarkTumalo
Feel free to share pics of your retriever, GSA and bicycles whenever you’re up to it. Text only won’t cut it!
-
Pics or it didn't happen, right?
OPEN UPPER - and they said… let's build one bike that can go just about anywhere.
Ayla - best dog ever
I rode into Banff right at sunrise - coffee search was on!

not gonna pretend otherwise….i'm a long time lurker forced out of my hole by the new marketplace policy
i prefer pre-owned to new when i can get it, esp for well made products like iron heart that have a usuable life beyond what many can muster

Pre-owned IH gear is awesome to find on here, especially when you don't pay full price.

Hello everyone,
My name is David. I am originally from Czechoslovakia , lived all over the Europe in 90's and eventually settled down in beautiful Oregon near Portland almost 25 years ago.
I work for myself in construction field. I enjoy training and competing with my dogs, riding my old Triumph Daytona motorcycle and mountain bike all over this place.
I was introduced to Iron Heart about 3 years ago by my friends in Self Edge Portland and developed "the addiction " shortly after.
I have been reading posts on this forum for awhile and I think it's time to introduce myself. -
Thank you
For sure …I love it here. -
Hi there,
Raw denim fan since mid 90s, made a break for 8-9 years and recently rekindled my passion for high quality durable clothes. A great local store in Toronto (Dutil) carries IH and that is where I got my first pair of IH jeans (777-142od).
I found the fit of 777 to be perfect for me so I also got them in 14oz indigo, and when they didn't have 777s-21 locally, I decided to order them from the IH store online.
There, I was blown away with the quality of service. Graham's handholding through the purchase process was unforgettable and if/when I can't find the next IH product locally I know where I'll go for additional purchases.
Cheers,
Darko -
Welcome @Darko to the forum and glad you enjoyed the help/service from IHUK and @Graham. The entire crew in Gosport are top tier in their support, knowledge, and understanding and I can personally say a fine group to meet in person and interact with.
Haven’t made it to Dutil, but need to make a trip as I’m about 2 hours east of Toronto.

howdy!
my name is andré and I am a pastor, musician, and bike shop guy currently living in Kansas City Mo. Excited to delve into the denim thing with some fellow fashionable fiends.
Also just want to shoutout the homie and KC local- Cam, who has an awesome store here called Guevel.

Welcome Andre! While my wife and I are born and raised Southern Californians, we love KC, MO. Our best friends moved there a couple years ago. Our son served in the Army at Fort Riley Kansas. This coming Christmas we are road tripping to KC to spend the holidays with our friends.
