Spring break in MX, 8 families- 35 strong. Managed to dive 3 days out of 8. Few new divers. 2 days of cenotes was nothing but spectacular.
We dove Ponderosa, dos ojos, chickin ha & tajma ha- aka Taj Mahal is a must if you want to experience the glory of cenotes diving.
We got a heads-up on diving the cenotes in Merida. Apparently, it’s the place to see Mayan ruins and bones.
A week of just the boys diving is planned.

@Wander First time looking at this thread, and noticed you mentioned Cozumel. My brother and I were certified in Cozumel in 1988,by a guy who goes by the name Blondie, who at the time we were certified, worked for Aqua Safari. Thought it would be too funny if your regular guy was him. My brother occasionally goes down there and dives with him,as he now has his own company. Been way too long since I’ve gone diving anywhere.

Lovely–wondering if that radiation logo changes color should moisture enter the case as a safety feature as I believe some FF do @Giles ? (not that you'll ever find out the expensive way)

I think a couple of guys on The Forum dive. I got certified back in 1987,when you had to learn dive tables and I think the program was developed,in some part by the Navy. Where will you do your checkout dives?
It's much easier nowadays. We have 16 hours theory and training in a tank here in Austria. Open water dives will be on the Maldives early next year. We will then receive an i.a.c. Open Water Diver license.
