IHWE-MRLOU-BLK - Wesco® - 10" Horsehide Pull-On "Mister Lou" Engineer Boot - Black

I'm looking for 9D or E. Black.
My usual size is 9d which my wescos are, (except my chippewa 1901M48 which are 9E, perfect fit nowadays. I know they don't compare directlyas mu other chippewas are 9D).
I ready to take 9E's as, as I said earlier, my right foot is wider nowadays. How much difference there is in D and E widthwise?

Hey
Just sharing my recent experience. Hope it helps a bit.I am 8.5 D in Redwing IR and ordered a pair or Mr Lou in 8.5 D. They were really snug, I wear them inside with a thin plastic bag instead of socks. My feet were almost dumb after a few minutes of wearing them. I retuned them and took a 8.5 E instead. That is much better…I am in the process of breaking in.
This having been said. I believe I could have managed to breack in the 8.5 D but with much unncesary pain.

@injunjack Shouldn't be too far in the not so distant future. What size were you looking for in an E width? I can see if what Wesco have available at the moment.

@injunjack Ill get back to you when they wake up on the West coast.

Sorry @Chesson, in the brown misterlou thread you mentioned a chromexcel version – didn't realize it only applied to the brown misterlou. So will the black continue to be provided in horsehide even though no restocks are indicated? And I guess my question still stands, will the brown version be available online anytime soon?

I've had my eye on these for a minute, looks like the perfect engineer boot. Are these built to the same specs as the Mr. Lou sold on Wesco's website? Also curious if it's it possible to get these in any widths narrower than D, Wesco only lists D and E as well.
Wesco do batches of the Mr. Lou and sell them through the website to partner retailers. The principal design is the same in terms of the last used, toe shape, heel cup, stitching etc. some details may change between batches, most obviously the leather.
I suspect they make batches in D and E widths as they are the most common. However Wesco do a full custom service and it should be possible to get a custom version with a narrower footbed.
I’d recommend emailing Giles, Alex or Chesson to discuss it. Living in Europe as I do, it is easier and less costly to arrange custom builds through them.
