BREXIT

That is obviously a possibility. I don’t know the details of the existing trade deals with Japan or the United States, nor how they will change. If the net effect of them isn’t too bad (it may even be positive post-Brexit), then perhaps IHUK can eat the extra costs connected to doing business in Europe.
Of course, the establishment of Iron Heart Germany may be partially in response to Brexit as well. Having an EU registered business in the heart of the EU may create the same possibilities that Iron Heart America does.

I believe I said that one of the possible options would be to open up an EEC based operation. That is still a possibility.
If our cost base does increase, then of course we will also have to consider raising our prices. We run a business, there is little point in running an unprofitable one, because if we do, we go bust and then there is no business.
However, I am wasting zero time worrying about it, because there are a bzillion variables and unknowns that will alter the end outcome, and thus how we change our business to cope with the new world order. So until, I know what is actually going to happen, I will worry about things I can affect, not things I cant.

I am sure I speak for all fans of IRON HEART that we wish you and the business the very best of luck no matter what the outcome of BREXIT is. We look forward to new jeans and new shirts and everything in between. We also look forward to seeing IRON HEART in brick and mortar stores across the world especially in this difficult time with COVID-19 and that they too can continue to stock IRON HEART..

I don’t know if it was planned a long time ago or brexit driven but to my knowledge we had no IH sellers in NL last year and now we have two and I am delighted for that! Although online shopping couldn’t be any better the way IH does it, but there is simply no substitute to a local based shop/community.

More to do with the popularity of this kind of premium clothing, increased awareness of the brand, and IHUK’s work to supply the growing network of retailers. The EU retailers still have to buy from a UK based company so both are subject to applicable post Brexit trade deals (or lack thereof).
-
We do virtually nothing proactive to find new retailers. If they find us, of course we are delighted, but we want people who want to stock Iron Heart to make the effort to contact us, it's almost a sort of pre-qualification of their intent and interest….
When we go to trade shows, it is really to spend time with our existing retailers. If we recruit a new retailer, that's accidental....
And if a potential retailer comes onto the stand who has never heard of Iron heart, it's a hard no.

That is really interesting, I’ve been following brexit as as I’m interested in how Britain has become so divided and the similarities with the USA.
I understand there is a history of anti eu among the right wing press in the uk going back decades which I could never understand,as I felt that would suit a Russian agenda, and not benefit the uk
Anyway hopefully this kind of hatred and division will be seen for what it is before it gets out of hand, as history shows us where it will end.

Thanks @organisys . Mind-Expanding!
I‘ve seen dozens of such signs in my town, which could described similar to this area in Wales:
Looks like it was oldfashion and useless, to advertise the advantages of the EU via this channel.
I have hope! -
My opinion is that a lot of people that voted leave were mis-sold or misinformed.

…it seems to me the cattle are easier to control when their all in the same corral. I don't understand not wanting to control your own destiny? :-\
