So two weeks ago the contractor said the kitchen renovation would be done in 4 days. We went out of town for Spring Break and got back Sunday. Kitchen is bombed. Contractor says it will be done in 3 days. Why do I not have countertops yet? And when will the cabinets be refinished? And when do I get to move back into my house? And why does my house still look like an abandoned construction site, dammit?
Maybe this should have been posted in the random rants…

^ very true. My general rule is take whatever you estimate it to cost and double it.

Never really expected it to go according to "schedule". Mostly I'm just tired of living in a condo with my inlaws. Realistically, I was planning for double the time, but we hit that and still haven't made it past the demolition stage. There is probably still two weeks of work to be done, so a job that was predicted to take 1 week is looking like it will be 4. At least we haven't blown the budget. Yet.

hi everyone. thanks for the advice
i asked for help regarding beatle busters fit vs. 634 and the consensus was simply to try on a pair and compare the two.
i think i'm gonna stick with the busters the thighs have stretched out and fit well, still a tad tight at times, but a little more stretch and they should be perfect.
the only issue i have is the waist which would be nice if it was a bit smaller.
If i hot soak the top couple inches of the jean how much might it shrink? can these be taken in? i'm guessing not.anyway i'd rather wear these with a belt then shell out for another pair. the fit really is good everywhere else at this point and i like the relatively slimmer leg of the busters.
