Hello all. I'm a newbie with Wesco. Some help with sizing would be much appreciated. In US sizing I'm an 8.5D in iron rangers and 9D in red wing moc toes. What size would you recommend in these gorgeous 8" British Tan Domain Jobmasters???

Wesco sizes about the same as RW and the Jobmaster last is roomy so I would say 8.5D

Any chance of some photo updates on how these boots wear and develop?
Also, how are the soles holding up?
Thanks.
-
@Streetwise Hercules - not the IHWE-JOU, but these are my BTD Jobmasters. They have been in constant rotation for about two years. The soles are still going strong, I will probably re-sole next year.
Lovely bit of leather!
-
@IH-GARY thank you.
So, I’ll state the bleedin’ obvious:
Those are flipping lovely!
That’s the Vibram Christy sole I think. The IH version has a Raptor and my Red Wings, that I very much love, have something made of Lancashire Cheese.
-
@Streetwise Hercules - you are spot on mate, my bad, I should have remembered they were Christy's!
The RW soles my boots come with give me pretty good wear - but resoles I can wear out within a year easy.
I'm going to ask for an alternative to the RW branded sole on my next resole to see if they last longer! -
@Streetwise Hercules hope these pics help, unfortunately haven’t worn as much in last 3 months due to lockdown, but have worn them regularly over two years and love them.
-
Here are mine @Streetwise Hercules. It's my favorite pair of boots, I've been wearing them everyday for more than a year (excluding winters and very hot days), walking and motorcycling. I pre-ordered them when the were announced and never regretted it. The soles are quite enduring.
I can't wait for spring so I can put them on again !
-
Thanks everyone.
Lovely looking boots. I’m sorely tempted.
-
The pics of these broken in really sold me on them so I just ordered a pair. That tax return I haven't received yet is really burning a hole in my pocket.

These boots are amazing. I love the lace to toe look. Ans the coloration of the leather. Reminds me of the oro legacy leather on eight inch red wing 877s. Except I really don't like how old moc toe boots look and much prefer the blunt round toe. Awesome.

Just got these. They are indeed amazing. I think I even sized right. They fit but don't feel tight or loose. I took an 11 (normally 11.5 in sneakers). I've never really had big boy boots before. There's a little bit of heel sleep on my right foot (which is smaller than my left) but that should stop once these mold more to my feet right? Do I need to treat them with anything?

Just wear them a lot! No need to do anything to the leather right away.

Yes, and no! Great boots!
-
@setandsetting the heel slip will go away as they mold to you feet for sure. So long as it's not excessive. If they are too big that's an issue but a little heel slip is always present at the first few wears of boots for sure.
Great choice, stoked to see how they evolve!!
