16oz Slubby Denim

@Alex checked the other 4 cuts. Only the IH-666S-SLB have the taped pocket openings.
I remember now, that when I specced the original IH-666S many moons ago, I specifically asked for taped pocket openings on them…..
I asked @Graham to check other 666 models. and they all have the taped pocket linings except the 21oz right and left-hand twills (both of which were initiated by Haraki). So it looks like all 666 jeans initiated by us have inherited this feature…..

@Nkwkfld:
Cool. I'm curious, how does sampling work? If the team can ever use an extra pair of legs I would be happy to volunteer!
We need to sample just about everything we make. To check dimensions, construction etc etc.
We like people who are actually going to wear the shit out of the samples and document progress, as per @neph93 with the SST's, otherwise, it's a complete waste of time.
I'll DM you….

Okay, slubby denim and IH over engineering?
Not since Nelson split the line of battle at Aboukir Bay to defeat Brueys d'Aigalliers or Mink DeVille did the Cadillac Walk has there been such excitement 'round this house. Okay, so maybe those two things are not like the other thing but this stuff rocks my boat. -

The 666 & 634 definitely have my interest. These look FANTASTIC.

Truly a magnificent denim. I’m looking forward to buying the slub tux. I’ll be channeling my inner Martin Sheen in Badlands!

From what I can see, that's exposed weft @Paul9221 . Nep is when there are little fluffy pieces of cotton trapped in the twill. Nep eventually rubs off. The irregularity of slub here is exposing weft to create this effect.

Yeah, I think you're right. Nep seems a lot more irregular while this is more patterned. Good observation!
