16oz Slubby Denim
-
The crazy idea:
- The vertical fading characteristic of slub denim is also known as Tate-Ochi, or “vertical falls”, in Japanese.
- Illustration of a waterfall (a reference to the vertical falls), then label the patch スラブ
- IRONHEART at the top but intertwined in the scene
The reality

The 5 core cuts will be Fall/Winter I would guess….
The one a couple of posts up will be sooner than that. But I can't tell you anything about that jean yet.
The patch will be sewn on all 4 sides as per 17oz and 14oz jeans. H feels that the lighter weight leather we use on those jeans is more appropriate for the lighter weight denims....

I'm feeling the new placement of the W, it's a nice change .

Yea these look really cool, I know they're not a straight reproduction of anything but that rounded pocket makes them look like something that might be worn in a sepia photo. The chances of this being in a silhouette that works for me are somewhere between slim and none, but these are on my radar.
