Hey all - I've worn these every other day now since February….still not much stretch. I got them tight and they are still the same tightness. My weight is the same as it was 3 months ago and just curious if anyone might have some advice to get another inch or so?

Is it the waist that is tight or the thigh as well? If the former, you could try various stretching methods. My favourite is using a car jack and a block of 2x4. You need to be very careful not to bust the button but if you are it does the job.

It's the cut of the top block, not just the waistband. I had to give up on them. The weave is unyielding.

They will stretch, but not easily and not without some exposure to water.
My first soak scared me, but after a few more, the stretch after a soak is almost immediate.

That's amazing, haha! It's just the waistband that goes around. It's fine when I am upright, but while sitting I definitely notice it. Even have had days with sore hips after wearing these, haha! Sounds like I need to get them wet and then put them on to hopefully stretch them.
They fit perfectly otherwise and I love the cut.

That’s the key, soak the waist band and then give them a good stretching while wet - if you can, let them dry in the stretcher

Ok cool, final question….what should the water temp be?
-
Really doesn’t matter. It is the lubrication of the threads that is important, not the temps. Lukewarm straight from the tap will be fine.
Thanks!

Any plans for a restock of these? Thanks for the info

Hope you guys have the same dates for the 555XHSib… Can't wait to a tag 36 to be available!!

XHSib restock will likely be in October some time.
Our workshops are very small, we have to prioritize what we make because we can't make it all at once.
That's make totally sense. First lighters fabrics for the summer season and then back to the heavy hitting ones for the colder months. We will wait a little bit more then. Thanks Giles!!
