I may just get this to work!!  Just told Laura and she is interested.

(So for a newbie's info:  Fly to London and take transportation?  Better to fly to Southhampton? Easy to get around Gosport or rent a car?)

Nowhere of any significance flies into Southampton.

So your best options are Heathrow or Gatwick. Heathrow is a nightmare on public transport, Gatwick train gets you to the ferry to Gosport - 4-minute ferry ride.

Both are about 90 mins drive/taxi away.  Our taxi is about GBP100 each way.

Renting a car is sensible if you want to see more of UK than just Gosport

We will create a sign-up form as soon as we can.  Any normal person would have got that and the 20th Anniversary artwork all sorted and squared away before announcing the party.

But a) I am not sensible and b) I'm overflowing with excitement…..
