IHM-27-OLV - Sateen M-65 Field Jacket - Olive

The Velcro on these sleeves will allow you to keep the sleeve cuff from passing your wrist.
I love this jacket but have also noticed the issue that you mentioned with the small arm-hole. It doesn't bother me most of the time but if I raise my arm up to reach for something, or reach for something on the ground, that deltoid area snags a bit.
I'm 5'10" with a 40" chest and have the medium. It's perfect over a T, even over a UHF. Only problem is that arm-hole.

I have a 45" chest (44 when I trim down) and have a gut feeling even the XL arm holes will be a bit snug from my experience with all of my IH tops. Maybe I should up the cardio and cut out some calories

Ha! I recently dropped from about 180 to 155. Super lean now. Feels good, man!
I've done some significant cuts in the past but I have a hard time maintaining very low body fat. I'm accepting of that now. Ha ha

Ordered. Thanks for the help!

Mine is 2 days away, I've been waiting over a year for this thing to make its way back into stock in the right size, and I've got my Aussie Army ACB pin here on my desk ready to stick it over the top left pocket.
Is there some sort of time skip feature on reality so I can get this bad boy in my hands faster or what :p

Xanax? Enough to knock you out for two days may also be enough to hospitalise you, so maybe not the best idea after all.
I jest of course, but I understand your frustration. If it helps, average delivery from the UK to northern Norway is 5-7 days. That sucks, but the wait is always worth it.

I'm in Texas. Shipped Monday and arrives Wednesday. Hoping this one is the right fit.

The large ended up fitting great. XL would've probably felt OK but the sleeves would have been too long and it wouldn't have retained the fitted look. It's minimally snug but I am able to wear a T-shirt and UHF underneath. For reference, XL UHF's fit me snug or very fitted. I ended up ordering the black version too. That comes in Monday so I'll probably take a few pics of both and post them.

Is there any remote possibility to have a little bit of extension of the arm length on this one? I would be glad if I can get an additional 2 inches plus on the arms length.

The arms are actually really quite long already, as they are on most IH jackets and shirts. I size down to L in these and the cuffs still come up to my knuckles.

As @neph93 said. Or as I would say, no.
Sorry…..

Is the chest too wide if you size up? I have to agree with the guys that the sleeves a little long as it is.
The M65 isn't supposed to be form fitting, though I'll say that IH has made the most flattering cut of this jacket. Sizing up shouldn't look ridiculous, especially if the arms are running short for you.

Having some trouble with sizing and was wondering if anyone had some advice. I wear an xxl in the latest Iron Heart UHF (purple western) and was debating between the L and XL. The sleeves on my flannel are a little long and hit mid hand but most of the time with arm bending. The sleeve retracts and bunches so it’s ok. Haven’t washed it yet either. I’d be wearing the m65 with a heavyweight tee and UHF usually.

Measurements are key, but based on your description and my own experience with this jacket, sizing down one from your standard UHF seems to be the way to go. This jacket also has velcro at the wrists that you can use to keep the sleeve from slipping too much.

I agree with the above. XL is the way to go. Going two down to L would be too much. I am XL in shirts and have an L in this. I can just about fit a shirt/tee combo under it.
