IH-634S-142ib - 14oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo/Black
-
Thanks for the answer. @neph93 @AdamJ. I understand. I walk 8-10 km a day 4 days a week. I have a couple of PIH5DCS, and 634-17 duck indigo and they do a quick faders. For six months, I got a great result. I also have 634-21 they are slightly slower, but the result also suits me. But I also have Momo and they upset me. They are very slow, although my movement has not changed. The same rate. But the result is much worse

Oh no! It's all right! I wear XHS in winter, 634-21, 888-21 in spring and autumn. Would like to take jeans for summer 14 oz with my old TCB50
Ah…. I was about to suggest the 22oz Pronto denim. The straight cut version is available via The Outlet. Amazing denim and fades beautifully. It does breathe quite well but may be a little warm for a summer jean, depending where you are.

Teaser of how this denim fades (note this is the 19ozib, not 14ozib, but contrast of fades will be consistent):
-
@kornnn they look to be fairly similar, however the 14oz has a slightly lower rear rise which you may notice. The waist, thigh and knee also look like they could be slightly snugger, however I would guess given the difference in weight of material (and disclaimer, I've never had the 14oz), at least some of the difference in measurements would come down to the thickness of material. I can't comment on the difference in stretch having never owned a pair, but in summary, I would guess they will fit pretty similarly
-
14oz will stretch like the 25oz but it won’t shrink like the 25oz. This is the primary reason for the difference in waist. The 25oz is expected to shrink up to an inch, then stretch out again. The 14oz will only stretch so you’ll end up about the same.
Otherwise the denim is quite different in weight, texture, hand and colour.
The differences in measurement charts are minor and expected. These jeans are made in small batches, by hand and mechanical machinery, not cut by cnc. Small differences between cuts and iterations, and even within the same batch are normal.
-
@LewisStonehouse I noticed an even simpler pattern. (Tag 14oz) = (tag 25oz + 1) approximately.
@neph93 Can I rate 14oz once washed?
Supposably if I am absolutely happy with 33 tag 25oz XHS then 32 tag 14oz would be the equivalent of convenience?P.S. Ha. Either I have become completely inattentive or the description of this model of jeans has just been updated.

Would like to see some evo pics… ::)
there must be some awesome faded pairs out there ..... -
This denim fades fast. I've been wearing these in rotation with a couple other pairs of jeans for a few months.
-
Any plans on restocking the larger sizes? I've signed up for the alert, am just excited about when this may be.

@IndigoIron Nothing on the schedule as of yet, I'm afraid, It is a continuing product so we should get more in the future hopefully we will have some update towards the end of the year
