Too small ???

Hey Iron heads,
I just found my old motorcycle jacket that I've had for 30+ years! I love this jacket, but think maybe it's too small for me now?
What say you? and don't worry I will not be offended in any way - BTW I do have the IH Extractor Jacket so I still have leather LOL

Too short, not too small. The sleeves and body length could be at least three inches longer.

Definitely too short.

Have to agree with @Filthy. Lovely old jacket, but too short in the arms and body. Apart from the appearance I’f imagine riding in it would be chilly with wrists and midriff not covered.
Frame it and hang it on the wall. It’s a beauty.
@neph93 - Yeah unfortunately you are right about the size. It comes to just above top of belt, I'm kind of scratching my head as to how I rode with it before. My chest and shoulders were smaller back then, but I wouldn't have thought I would have gotten taller LOL.
Anyway, I think, I'll condition it and give to my daughter who is nearly 14, she'll have the coolest jacket around I reckon. One careful owner
@Filthy - yep you are right
@Palmer - unfortunately true

Devil's advocate. Take a look at the below picture then ask if the jacket is too short…
All depends on the look you're going for and partly the rise of your pants. Ultimately, fit is a matter of preference and it's only a bad fit if the wearer doesn't like it.

I think Brando’s jacket works because it has a waist belt and has more rectangular through the body. It hits above the belt but the narrow shoulder keeps it from looking stubby. I had a problem similar to the OPs with a denim jacket from Kapital. The shoulders are pretty heroic, the cut is V shaped, and it hits RIGHT at the belt. Overall I think this accentuated the fact that it is just a bit too short to work for me.
I’m glad your leather jacket is getting a second life with your daughter. I am sure she is thrilled to have it!
