Wow that place is so awesome. It kind of reminds me of Drumhellar in Alberta. I'm so jelly.

That's great. I hope you continue to do so

I've gotta go to southern Utah. We periodically visit up around SLC, but haven't really explored the rest of the state. These pics make me realize that's been a mistake.

North Rim is fantastic; highly recommended.

It’s great to be home. We really missed the dog and we’re thrilled to see her. TG dinner was very nice. We ate at a place on the side of a large mesa called Sunset Grille. I would have taken more photos but it was crazy busy and the service was pretty inattentive. All I got was this…
Here are some internet shots for reference…
We stopped in Colorado on the way back for some “souvenirs”. Took advantage of that Black Friday action and supported a small business!
There aren’t really Xmas tree places here so people just go out into the National Forests and cut one down. We’ll do that next weekend.

We visited Santa Fe on Xmas eve with my father in law. The Loretto Chapel has this spiral staircase that’s famous because the church needed a staircase to get up to the choir balcony but because the area was so tight they couldn’t figure it out. This mysterious carpenter showed up (Jesus?), built a cray awesome staircase and bounced without accepting payment. No one really understands how the staircase is structurally supported. It was on Unsolved Mysteries.
We also checked out the history museum and I got this pic of Billy the Kid’s spurs…
