I mean it can't not help evo, right?! I sleep in my 295!

Because of my job I don't get to wear my jeans a lot during the day, so I gotta wear them at night. It seems to work pretty well though.

It has been stated before and I’ll shout it now. The guys at IH are unbelievably helpful and I consider them friends!! Not only were they able to snag these 822’s from Japan, but @Graham was instrumental in my decision to hem them. He and I are just about the same size and tried them on for me and gave me his thoughts on hemming.
He’s an absolute saint!

After
@Chesson Thank you so much for the hemming! You sir rock!!

After an unexpected delay due to a landslide over a train track (welcome to Norway), I was able to pick up my 822’s today.
I may not be “Filthy” enough to join the BotB but I humbly request admittance into The Filthy Few. Excuse the slippers [emoji1]
Thanks for being amongst us Mike. Love you lots buddy…

So like what do you think, do you like them? They fit you really well.

Thank you! A little tight in the waist but that was the plan. The 21oz should so
its magic expanding trick over the weekend.I love them. The bag removal was an absolute joy. The weight was delicious, you could really feel the difference that the “42oz” thighs made. I had them hemmed, but a little longer than usual so I can do big stacks over engineers, or a large cuff. Having a zip totally freaked me out though [emoji23]
I’m very pleased indeed. I thought that the extra denim would make them stiffer, but it turns out double the weight means double the softness!

That's very well said I definitely agree. But like they get so much softer… Just you wait.

June 21st was the first wear. And I have been wearing them pretty much every day. Even when I wear my overalls or slubbies, I come back home or to the hotel and change into these and then (attempt to) sleep in them. I have insomnia and tinnitus so there's lots of tossing and turning. I also obsessively stroke my hands on my thighs… It's super weird but I am completely addicted to how the hand of this denim feels.
Edit: I guess I did hand wash these right before I machine washed them. I forgot about that. I had to go back through my post history because I couldn't remember.
They were machine washed once and I ran them through the dryer about 20 minutes until they were slightly damp then I starched and ironed the heck out of them to get them crispy again. I just washed them with a Tide pod. The starch really helps to make them feel new after a wash.
The other thing I forgot to write about was sometimes I use my phone, and in bright sun it makes the colors really pop. Like the ones above I just walked outside and snapped those pics.
The other pics were more subdued early morning light and with a DSLR camera so the color appears more natural. Like below.
