Coronavirus (Covid-19) Discussion

Well, for me, fully unvaxxed with any of the experimental offerings currently available to protect against a virus with a relatively high survivability rate, let's be honest, it hasn't been too bad! I'm 5 days past a positive test and beside being a little extra tired, I feel pretty much good to go. Never lost my sense of smell or taste. Now, to be fair, I like soooo many others took my life in my own hands and used a drug that has literally been dosed billions of times with relatively no side effects called Ivermectin. I also, prepared for months and months making sure my Vit D levels were high, took lots of C and zinc. I also used black cumin seed oil, been around for centuries, check it out. I'm not really posting this to start shit but it's fair to say, early treatment works. For all you pro vaxxers who chose to take it, I'm glad it's an option for you, I really am. I'm not pro or anti but I sure as shit am anti mandate. For those who were forced to take an experimental treatment that is certainly not doing what we were told it would, I am truly sorry. For me, someone who has been taking care of my body for years, I knew there was a better way to go. Seems I got it right, and now natural immunity!! It will be fun to keep an eye on this thread because, wow, some of y'all are really sure about being on the right side of the argument on this one. Time will tell I guess. Hopefully the great IH mod team does us all a favor and leaves the historic log as is…
Oh, my 6 year old kicked it in about 36 hours, my 9 year old 48, and Dr Zhivago a little longer, is coming right after about 6 days. No one in our little nest is vaxxed, we just all eat lots or organic whole foods, sustainably raised meats, avoid excess sugar and get lots of activity. We also celebrate our blessings often and express love openly!! To each their own though!

You’ve been fortunate mate, that’s about it. I for one am pleased that is the case, though I personally don’t think you’re doing your bit for society if you opt out with no good reason (your opinion in face of overwhelming science not being a good reason in my eyes).

no bait @Matt not how I roll champ
Are these injections not only being used under the EUA or am I missing something?

just so I have some frame of reference to what your understanding of modern medicine is, feel free to list any credentials you or someone you live with has, for instance, my wife is a dual board certified physician, your turn

Pfizer, which is essentially the same technology as Moderna, has been fully approved for months. It’s easy to find online if you have any interest. Was the Mrs not aware of this?

Good to know, I would say overall we are still in the midst of the experiment and from what I have seen, it ain't working. Did you get the measles after you got your measles vaccine?
Yet with this one, you get it, you can spread it, but MAYBE it makes the symptoms less? How would you even know? Plenty of people are still being hospitalized with the vaccine?
I really am not here to debate it. I didn't take it, I got it, I got better. It's funny how if someone who takes the vax, gets it and recovers, they are praised in here like it was some heroic effort, but if someone doesn’t take it and gets better they are treated like a threat to society. All very odd behavior IMO.

…@zhivago, Amen.

yeah QFT

I hear what you’re saying and I have nothing against Fadez or Filthy or you for that matter. My only point here is that it seems like a bit of a double standard to claim you don’t support vaccines because you incorrectly believed them to be experimental and unapproved by the FDA, but you do support another that is actually experimental (and found to be ineffective in those experiments) and actually unapproved in any capacity for humans.

Chap works in an ER (or hospital) if I remember correctly… Guess he's sick and tired of folk like you making his job so much harder rn
how am I making his job harder exactly?
-
PS it is working, at least in the UK where the vast majority have the sense to get the vaccine. All restrictions being dropped this week…

When did I say they weren’t approved by the FDA? I said they are experimental. They are, they have been around for just over a year mate. Squarely in experimental phase of any vaccine historically. That would be 7 years in most cases. They were approved under the EAU, it's all very easy to find on the internet. I would also be curious as to what took 108 days to approve needs 75 years to release the documents relating to the approval of said drug?
Again, really not trying to change anyone's mind here. Nor am I changing mine, but let's just notice how the pro vax immediate devolve to insults…@LewisStonehouse:

And this is why the pandemic will never end and the virus will continue to mutate.

As it did in South Africa which then gave us the Omicron variant which by all accounts seems to be our best shot at herd immunity yet!

Again, gonna be really fun to look back at this thread in 6 months and again in a year or two…
