Agfa says R09 One Shot is the same formula as Rodinal but there seems to be a lot of internet debate about whether it's true. I want to like Rodinal but my results with it have been far too inconsistent because of its sensitivity to time/temp/agitation/etc.
I only used a very expired sample of the Agfa stuff once for some test shots, but the results were amazing. I don't think I have any scans of those negs. The professor of the photo class I was taking was mad that I used his Rodinal supply for throw away shots

this was shot on Tri-x at about iso 250 and developed in Rodinal, then scanned. The combo can be a little harsh when it comes to detail in faces, etc, but I like it a lot

Nice shots! Love how you can see the grain even at this resolution on the top of first shot. I wish my parents had baby shots of me like that. I'd show them off for sure.

my point exactly… im having people coming in offering 40 to 50 bucks for whatever we have left of rodinal but my boss wont sell it because he wants to keep it for his friends

I just picked up an S95. Was debating between that and upgrading my 40D to a 7D, but in the end figured a great pocket camera would be the way to go… the best pictures are the ones you actually take, and all that...
