Experiments on your Iron Heart gears !!! oO

Hiii !!!
Don't know if a topic like that already exists… Thought it would be cool to share experiments we did on Iron Heart products... From patching and embroidery stuff to cutting jeans to shorts, tees to tanks, shirts/jackets to sleeve less... Playing with bleach (why not) etc...
I have a IHJ-54-BLK leather jacket a bit too small for me since a while, wearable and comfortable with a tee, unwearable with long sleeves, forearms way too snug, i should have take a L as always instead of a M, i've trusted the 44 in chest for a size M from Selfedge chart... ... ... Should have not... ... ... Well it's another topic...
The damages were done so i have decided this morning i would go for a big bet, all in !!! and remove the heavy cotton lining to win as much space as possible inside the jacket, the result is that i have won around half a size in chest (back part mostly i think) AND forearms !!! I can now wear hoodies and UHFs with this amazing jacket, still can't close properly the jacket but not a problem i am not a zipped up guy !!!
To be honest with you it broke my heart at first to start cutting that beauty of a jacket, i felt a bit ashamed and disrespectful to take the risk to ruin all the good work made behind that product... But i kinda like the result soooo no regrets
I can now document you everything in pictures, kind of a "behind the scene / what's hidden behind a lining" dive !!! Put your masks on, and lets swim deeper into the abyss of Iron Heart !!!

Gnarly!!!
My general attitude is that if it works for you, it's good. If a jacket doesn't fit but you don't wanna sell it, then by all means if you can find a way to get it right, then go for it. Who wouldn't? Beats the hell out of it sitting in your closet and making you sad every time you look at it.
My only comment is that you should watch out for that piece of elastic holding the bi-swing back together. If you were to take that off or if it were to become disconnected somehow, the gussets on the back would pooch out (ignore me if I'm telling you something you already know). I've got a Schott Perfecto that I need to send in for repair, precisely cos this happened — it looks like shit when it does. The plus side in your case is that should it ever end up damaged, no liner = easy repair

Ahah thank you for your advices, i will take very good care of that elastic band, you are right without lining it's way easier to repair things, i could even do it by myself ^^

Bought some worn once 666 18oz. Too big in the waist. Had however been hemmed just right for me.
Washed at 60 Deg.C. Then went straight in the tumbler.. forgot to remove the patch first! (now done).Got the waist bang on, but the leg is now a little short….. Look like a plonker, wear them anyway...F* it, great denim!
Pics if I ever get the time...
