Indigo Invitational Y3

Cheers bud definitely feel these fade quicker then the XHSIB last year I wore my pair under waterproof bottoms for a couple of months in work because of the weather and I didn’t do a initial soak so I think that gave them a slow start. These XHS initial soak out the way and I’ve just been wearing them what ever the weather .
Hall of fades have to see mate -
Think they fade quicker in general when soaked or washed before wearing,at least thats my experiece.

I wore these for about half of April. Love them (more on that in a bit), but they're currently sharing leg time with my XHSib. And I think I'm going to retire my 19 oz Samurais and replace them with a pair of standard model XHS, so that'll make my winter rotation even more crowded.
Obviously, I'm not expecting to place anywhere in the Invitational (I like wearing a jeans in a rotation of 2-3), and I instead use these contests as a framework and source of motivation to get 120+ wears on a slow-fading pair of jeans (such as these 21 oz). These will have that nice lived-in look next March.
I have to say that while I think that the XHS denim is more interesting, fades better, and is better to wear in cold weather, I still think that the OG 21 oz has the best combination of comfort and practicality. If I could only own one pair of jeans, it would be a pair of 777S-21.

XHS great for the cold weather haven’t worn thermal bottoms working on site in 2 years now lol , not the greatest when the summer comes .
Your pair starting to take shape @BlueBlood looking good.

Thanks, @Jcaz6996 !

This is where I stand after 1 month. Not that much happening yet.

Love the indigo black, you made a good choice
Already nice combs -
But more going on than on my 18oz Reuben
Washed or soaked? -
Ah ok , so the norwegian canalization has to deal with lots of indigo soon

Hmm I'm thinking about entering my 1955s that I have been wearing for about 1-2 months now. I know they have one wash and I will get a few of the Fade Logs from Tannery South in the mail today. That'll help me keep a more accurate log of wears and washes. On the days I dont wear the 55s, I will be wearing my 634SLBs that I should be getting this week or next back from hemming. How long will Y3 last?

next month done, no wash / no soak
nothing special happened -
@Daniel San Those are some superb vintage fade vibes.

thank you !
but I think that it´s not that different when compared to last month.
it seems that the 18 oz is fading slowly, but I expect them to start rocking after the first wash.
