@SKT I think you're right. I believe I read here somewhere that Giles said the 25, 14 and 19 are the most durable (I think because the are all the tighter weave). While definitely hotter, I actually prefer the tight weave.

Been dropping some weight lately and decided to see what happens if I boil my size 36. I think I dropped them down at least 1 to 1.5 inches in the waist. But the interesting thing is what happened to the patch.

Wow, it's crazy that the patch turned that dark.

Yeah. And it was about half the original size. It then hardened once it dried and I could just break it off.

Got my pair yesterday and wore them for a few hours around the house. Perfection. I needed some lighter weight summer-y jeans and these are great. I’ll be alternating these with my 14oz Stevenson Carmel when it warms up
-
As much as I love my 21oz pairs, I had to get one of these as a summer pair for down the road. Gonna hold out till I can’t stands the heat, then these are going in to fill their role as heat beaters!
-
The 14oz fabric is pretty damn brutal in the heat to be honest. This fabric is what I wear during the cool months here in the desert.
-
@Palmer I’m sure the indigo will be no hotter than my 14oz BB I wore last summer. The tighter weave is also a little more durable for my rougher summer activities. I wear 21 in the summer too, but they can be a bit much on the hottest most humid days around here.
