IHSH-264-PUR - Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt - Purple/Black
-
I just got an email back from Fallen Acorn. This applies to anyone interested outside of the UK:
"Hi Steven,
Great to hear from you! Unfortunately the bundle is a UK only exclusive, because of the issues surrounding international alcohol shipping atm, but Iron Heart will have the shirt available for international sale in a couple of weeks time.
Cheers"
Which is what I expected but I figured I'd ask.
-
@Oaktavia Yes sir. I can confirm: I received the same message regarding shipping to Germany.
-
what about an empty beer bottle as a collectors item. The staff takes turns pounding beer to fill the order. I nominate @Graham to go first.
-
@jerkules So no excuse anymore: you just have to do the purchase order
Beautiful shirt - no doubt. But I am not totally sure yet: the IHSH-332 and IHSH-335 are close to drop as well… and 3 UHF‘s within 4 weeks or so could be a reason for a divorce :-0

Hi everyone , I managed to get the purple and black check last year new with labels last Xmas
-
Really looking forward to wearing both of these bad boys this autumn and winter

@Alex, or anyone who is up on western fit. I have IH flannel work shirts (9oz ombre and UHF) in XXL and they fit perfect. I haven't washed them yet though :-\ (been a year or so).
From what i read most people size up on the UHF westerns. Thoughts?
Also, the size chart above looks a bit larger than other UHF charts i have seen. Are they getting larger?
The chart above says i would be an XL, i have never bought an XL in IH. always a XXL.
See my struggle. Sorry for the long comment… Thanks all!

Hi
Are you sure the size charts are not mixed up?
It is very similar that the size chart of a western is from a work shirt and vice versa -
-
Sorry, good spot. That is exactly what happened. Sorry

@Denimdaddysloth i (generally) wear XL in IH western and workshirts. My westerns are more fitted while the workshirts are more generous. The westerns taper more towards the waist than workshirts, so if you need a looser waist then consider sizing up in a western.
Crucially tho, trust the charts and measure carefully. If an XL matches your preferred measurements then go for the XL.

Oh hell yeah and makes much more sense now. XL Western (my usual size) is the way to go.
