Today was the first bike polo sessions of 2011! Super sunny all day!
So happy to be able to ride again after a long winter! Still some patches of snow here and there but all the roads are dry and clean already..
Here's me playing (in the grey hoody, no IH gear sorry )
It was so much fun! So psyched that winter's finally over!
After that I went home and made dinner: grilled peppers, zucchini and eggplant, couscous, hoummous and chicken.
Pretty much a perfect sunday!

went to skye to get some fresh air into my lung
Portree for some fish 'n' chips (even Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall thinks this is the best plaice for them ::))
and then here at Carbost and Loch Snizort Beag (which is actually just an inlet for the Atlantic Ocean)
then Talisker Bay (which is not even remotely near to the distillery for those planning to visit)
sorry, no IH today - wearing my hill gear which is a bit more pyjama-like

Great pictures, Geo. Talisker 18 YO is one of my favorite whiskies ever. By seeing the distillery I knew you're at Skye, I didn't read properly.
-
@Geo:
wasn't it World Whisky of the Year at some not too distant point?
not sure, at least Jim Murray has a strong favor towards Ardbeg But Talisker, Highland Park and Macallan are without a doubt the distilleries, most critics and manufacturers agree to be the "best". Are you much into whisky? If yes, let me see your collection, please!

Love those Scotland pics Geo! I'm going to spend a week and a half over there in june, just going to drive around and admire the views. If you have any pointers (or any of you have) feel free to pm me, it's my first visit.
And Max, love the picture with the flowers! I love spring! I believe that flower is called Wood Anemone in english, here in Finland it's the tradition to pick those for your mom on mother's day.

sorry MP - whisky isn't my drink
i've tried a few but can happily live without it . . .
-
^what kind of scot are you? I hope you got a kilt at least! I can't imagine living happily without whisky
You should give the Balvenie 12 YO Double Wood a try, it is the perfect beginner's whisky.
