IHM-37-ODG - Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Olive Drab Green

Got mine today! Absolutely amazing jacket. 2XL UHF are comfortable but slim. Went with XL since that was all that was in stock. I can squeeze a UHF under it and zip it, but it gets cramped. Plus I live in East Texas, so we don’t need too much layering here anyway. With just a T-shirt when zipped it kinda looks like it’s tight, but I have plenty of room. No problems with tightness in the shoulders and chest, I have great ROM for such a heavy duty jacket. I was worried since it doesn’t have a bi swing back. The hand warmers are honestly one of my favorite parts, sooooo cozy. I don’t think I will have much success buttoning the collar.

Great fit @CrowRobot! I got an XL too and I'm a bit nervous. Should be in today. Im also an XXL in UHFs so seeing your fit my hopes are higher for a perfect fit.

PSA: for anyone still hunting for a Size Medium…it looks like a whole truckload of them was just posted on Self Edge in the US...good luck gentleman:)

As long as the XXL UHF is nice and comfortable, you should be perfect!
Great fit, and judging by the sleeve length you nailed it.
Also, best grumpy face I've seen on here in a long time!Oh the sleeves are a little long, but luckily there are the cuff buttons!
I swear I am a cheerful fella, I just have resting angry face lol.

Picked one up the other day from Self Edge. For reference, this is size medium and I'm 5'11 / 165lbs. Just wearing a tee here, but it is comfortable with a sweater or flannel. Paired it with some IH-777s and my beater Timberland mids.
The fit looks perfect! Mine shipped out this morning and should be here by the weekend. I am 5'10" 168lbs and also ordered the Medium. I am even more excited now…well done!

Warehouse work fitment pics . I’m 5’8 145lbs and went with a small. Wear a medium UHF. Fits real good with just a shirt but surprisingly still feels good with a heavy hoodie under too. Only get better with some wear

Nice fit, man! Should be able to get some quick break in working in the warehouse!

@Monk thanks man killer fit on yours! Sleeves are a bit long but I’m gonna go with it

This sucks…. Literally just got the regular olive n1 from Iron Shop Provisions and then seen this. Looks so much more sleeker without the stitching for the pockets. Bummmer.
Which is why we expose the full collection in advance on IG and in the dedicated seasonal collection thread, that way people can make informed decisions on how they spend…..
Thank you guys for doing that but it’s still so hard to decide lol. I think the regular one is great as is. This one is nice as well. I could exchange it at Irom Shop but it’s not that serious. I looked through the paper catalog that came with the IHSH 315 I ordered from you guys but Colorado is getting hit with some snow early so hurried and got the regular N1 on the Black Friday sale so it’s a even bigger W. I’m thinking about getting the khaki n1 vest but maybe I’ll hope and pray you guys will release those again but designed like the waxed N1….

For those whom missed the opportunity to snap one, Selfedge now has them in all siz s

Question… for those who have owned an N1 deck jacket and put it hard to work daily, does the alpaca lining tend to mat down or flatten leaving a bit more room inside? I would imagine it does. If so, any input on how long this could take with daily wear?
Mine is a bit tight in my chest and gut area (dad bod, beer belly, same difference IMO), but i know if i went up a size, it would be too big for my liking.
I absolutely love this thing! A beast.

Got mine today, from Berkeley Supply. Bought it in Large and that was a perfect choice. This jacket is great. For sizing comparisons, I'm an American sized non-slim medium, wear a large UHF, and an XL (42) in the Type 3 Modified and the Storm Rider jackets. Large fits me great, over a UHF, and sleeve and shoulders are perfect. Jacket is just absolutely excellent.

@Denimdaddysloth Might be worth trying a size up while it is new and you can. I've worn mine for a couple seasons and it is pretty much the same. You might also find that one size up works because of the inner storm cuff that holds the sleeves off the wrist.

This is an awesome cool jacket!
Supermaterials
I would really like to have the same cool warm jacket, made of the same materials, but longer.
In such a short jacket, you can only drive a car or walk when it is not very cold and windy.
It is cold in Russia in winter and the optimal jacket length for the city is up to the middle of the thigh, like M65, but a little longer. It would be great if IH does something similar next winter!

They did a deck coat once, and it’s a cult classic for some—but was a poor seller at the time. Maybe try a post in WTB? https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=s55bhaokfjlo6m339nejrovhh4&topic=8265.0

The M-51 Parka is a great mid thigh coat with a lot of room for layering. I pop my primaloft vest under it and I’m golden.
