IHSH-295-BB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Black/Black

@Oaktavia How do you normally get the dust or dog hair out from your shirt without washing? I had to do some cleaning work today and I forgot to take my shirt off and after an Hour or so, all of the dust was on my shirt. I used to take a damp cloth and wipe of any dust or any scuffs resulting from food falling over on my XHS, but that wiped off some blue from the fabric after which it resulted in an unwanted fade. I do not want the same on this shirt.

I've had success using a horse hair brush.

Hey man! I've been meaning to chime in earlier but have had a lot going on lately. I had a fucking fuckton of dust, dog hair (two golden retrievers), dead skin cells, anything dude you name it stick to my 295bb like super glue. It was frustrating to say the least because I chose to wear it as much as possible and that included wearing it to work. I would use lint rollers and lay my shirt out flat and roll the ever loving fuck out of it before I would go to bed each night. If I skipped a day, I used up to six roller sheets a night. It was a lot of dedication to just one shirt. But as you wear it and as it fades and after multiple washes, it gets much more manageable and less noticeable. So stick through it and after about six months, the results are fantastic.

@the246guy here are photos I took this morning of my 295bb. As you can see, after about 75-80 wears and 3 or 4 machine washes, the denim lightens up quite a bit. You can still see my golden retriever's fur on it here and there, but it is much less noticeable and so is everything else that clings to it. Also after washes, the denim texture changes to be less prone to showing debris. It like flattens out I suppose would be the way to describe it.

That shirt is perfection! I have a husky and GSD so I know the challenges. I do find when I get to a certain break-in point fur clings much less. Or at least comes off much easier.

Wow! That shirt is well worn. Thanks for the pictures. There is still a long way to go for you and a long long way to go for me with my 295.

I'm actually switching my main shirt from this one to my wabby CPO. I can't get enough wabash. I'll still wear the 295bb but not like crazy as I was before. I think if I were to go after higher contrast fades like I was hoping for with this shirt, I should go for the upcoming 16oz SBG shirt. But like you have expressed, the clingy and showy of dirt and debris aspect of black tops is not for me again. We actually have four dogs at my house now because we are watching my parent's pups for the time being. Four long haired goldens. No black for a while

I totally get your point. Just wearing this shirt on a daily basis in a normal environment is already attracting lots of dirt over it and I can imagine with the dogs around, your shirt is like a sticker for dog hair.
How do you know by the way that there is a 16oz SBG shirt? As my next item, it will be the Wabash 12oz and I'm waiting for a restock.

@the246guy whispers 'round these parts

I got it from IH Hamburg and I cannot say if the measurements are as per the charts here in IH UK. I will take a better picture of me wearing the shirt later today.
For the Iron Heart products, IH Germany uses the same measurements as IH UK.
However, there can be variations among products. When I was in Gosport for the party I measured the length of every single medium anniversary flannel and the shortest and longest differed by about 2cm.
