Redline Rally Y2

I think the wabash is an easy fade…..
I've been wearing mine (not in RRY2) over the past week and have noticed quite a bit of early on fades actually and now I agree with you. I thought about why my 68 took "so long" to fade over the couple of years I've had it and realized it was because I was not actually wearing it for the entirety of the time. It also seems quick to fade compared to my 295bb which is a stubborn bastard.

@Daniel San sort of ready I booked a log cabin for a few days with the family for New Year’s and actually left my jacket at home, but funny enough Bryan got in touch couple of days ago asking me to do the pictures for the website / email that get’s sent out which is pretty cool
-
Let’s get this started already!!!! I’ll admit I have a tendency to baby my gear but I’m going to treat this bad boy like it slept with my wife!
-
ready steady go
-
@Daniel San Smash that thing. Looking forward to seeing the evo on those.
-
thinking about a initial wash/soak , want to make sure the creases on the sleeves from transport folding are
definitely gone . or maybe I try to iron them first …, what you guys think ?little care before wear , try to preserve the patch as good as possible.
-
I have never found that any creases from shipping have lasted more than a few hours of wear.
Personally, I would do a soak over an iron but that's just b/c I could see me bungling it up lol -
those two examples are many years old , you can see those folding creases if you look closely.
it’s not bad , and does not bother me much. but if possible I want to avoid
-
AAHHh, I see what you mean here. Indeed, certainly not noticeable unless you are really looking but, of course, that's sort of the point of a fade comp. At least a soak won't hurt anything so go for it if it will give you peace of mind.
I've been starting to wear my stuff after a soak while still damp. I scoffed at the idea in the past but have found it really sets the creases of my body in the garment, especially in my less than 1-year-old items.
You've chosen a great piece–can't wait to see the evo!

@pmadison95 I decided to enter another piece beside my IH Wabash and went with a Freenote trucker (the indigo version). It's supposed to arrive tomorrow. Certainly looks like a quality piece!
-
@Salted Racer I think you will be happy with yours. I like mine a lot so far. Happy Fading!

@Oaktavia Lefty is a beast compared to my 19L OD guessing it’s going to take a while to break this bad boy in?
Is yours soft yet ?It's really is a beast. It took a long time to break mine in and it is still not what I would call soft. It's texture is still pretty rough but not as beastly as it once was.
