Love all that
I feel like if I had that GAH clasp on my person I would be playing with it all day. That's kind of how their clasps always strike me.

@Cutlasshound what is the item I’ve circled in red?

As Mclain rightly said. It is a Roots & Co Japan Air Pod Pro 2 case.
Used to use a BagJack Mouse Pouch for my Air Pod Pros.
However, this did not protect the Air Pod case when it was out of the pouch and recently have dropped the case a number of times. Wanted to find a more robust solution in the form of a case that I could put in the BagJack pouch or attach to something.
Came across the collaboration version of this case that Roots have done with Briefing. Immediately sent me down the ‘obscure Japanese brand rabbit hole’. Have bought a few bits from them and the quality is excellent.
It comes with one of these s-biner attachments.
The lid operates using a hinge on the side.
I need to get an adhesive strip to attach the lid to the Airpods to make it a bit more secure when the case is open. It stays on ‘as is’ but have already had a few occasions when I have managed to pop it off.
I switched out the s-biner for one of their Quad Mag webbing loop attachments. I have a lot of bags with molle attachment points and find them useful. Also, I have switched out buckles on various bags for Fidlock buckles, which are exceptional. Essentially the circular bit attached to the Airpod case has a series of magnets, so that it can be engaged to another housing that you attach to something via a velcro webbing loop.
The below is one of the Mag Reel 360 carabiners that they did with Briefing. It has a retractable leash that is held in place by a very secure magnet. It provides a very satisfying sensation when the magnet disengages. I am hoping to attach my Good Art spring clip to it (not tried yet) and to use it as part of EDC, preferably with the phone case below and the Airpods case. The carabiner gate itself opens smoothly and is robust. The magreel mechanism itself can also be replaced itself if it breaks.
I love to take photos with my Iphone 13 Pro Max. I have been after a case that I can attach a camera strap to, but struggled to find one that was mil-spec.
Roots do one! Sadly I bought the wrong model (need Pro Max) so have ordered the one that actually fits my phone and need to sell the one in the pic below. The brackets at the end of the case are used to attach camera strap / carabiner / other things to.
The strap, which I also bought from them, is well constructed and has other attachment points on it. It will enable me to wear the phone like a bag and to also have easy access to it for taking photos.

@Giles thats so cool. My wife has something called Bandolier that’s basically that but more feminine and a purse vibe. I was wondering why there wasn’t something for masculine types.
I need that AirPods Pro case. Feel free to grab an extra while you’re in Japan
Indeed thanks for the write up @Cutlasshound
