Awesome james @Jcaz6996

@discobeard I went with the same size in the 25oz as my other 555s (18,21,UHR). Feels perfect

Picked these up last week.
Wondering. My weight (waist, actually) fluctuates a bit. I go between a 32 and a 36, but my skinny legs aren't affected at all. I opted for the 35 because of the waist dimensions after measuring my other 555 21oz (size 34, waist stretched to 36) but when I got my XHS in size 35, they were huge everywhere! Including the waist. I'd already had them hemmed, so that's on me.
It's like I need that 33/34 leg dimension with a 35 - 36 waist. These are close in waist, but not the legs.
So, my question is this. After a super hot soak for 45 minutes did nothing meaningful to reduce size anywhere, I'm looking into the hot wash/hot dry method.
I'm used to washing in a washing machine and hot drying (I know, I know) and I've usually gotten the result I want after about 2 cycles of that.
...but now I'm scared of marbling and lines. I've had quite a few pants IH and others that have had the dreaded lines on the calves.
Is there a way I can hot wash/hot dry (dryer) these jeans without marbling or lines because I'd really like these to shrink down another size.
Turning inside out seems like a strategy that could work, but I want to hear from people that have done it. because I still feel like you could get those lines. Maybe no spin cycle in the wash?

@drtii put them inside out, soak them fully wet with the shower head before you put them into the washing machine. NO spin and drip dry or flat dry.

Thanks heavy blue!
-
@drtii no prob man! Enjoy them

I usually just lurk around here but got inspired to post after the redesigned forum. Been wearing the 555-XHS almost everyday for the last 5 months. Not a ton of fading yet. I'm a 6th grade teacher so don't get some of the sick fades as fast of some of y'all! Also got my favorite jacket on, IH-526J-22, love the shorter cut on it! Fit pics are hard when you live alone!

@Kasi Yeah its gotten a bit out of hand. Been working on downsizing the collection, gives me a couple buck that I inevitably give to Iron Heart.

@Jcaz6996 sick video man!

@mumonkey72 cheers bud

Just got these. Plan to make these my main pair for a good while. Soaked and washed and feel great already. Made a new belt for them, always enjoyable with a bit of leather evolution as well. (Might need another hole in the belt eventually, but somewhat satisfying keeping it neat with just the one for now).
-
Tha's a great looking belt! You made it yourself?? @JunkPants
-
@Lowlander Thanks! Yes, I enjoy doing a bit of leatherwork when I have the time. Generally I keep the rejects and failed projects for myself and gift the good stuff to friends and family.
Here are a few other belt examples.

@JunkPants that are some badass looking belts man
