Some details on my 555XHSib at the 500 wears mark:
Does what I was wearing in October 2022, according to Google Streetview, count?
I haven't looked or posted here on WAYWT in ages--sorry. But feeling bored, I was playing with Google Streetview, and remembered seeing one of their cars when I was biking around with my kid some time ago. So I found myself on Streetview, and just had to share with the Forum.
Pretty sure I'm wearing the lefty trucker, IH-825-IND, and Custom Wescos.
Fresh after a wash:
Great fit @Rangadello!
Here are some pics of my pair after 500 wears @twin

Here is my pair, fresh after a wash. I'm at 417 wears. For the first time, they need some repair/reinforcement in the crotch--one area there is wearing pretty thin.

@Oaktavia Looking forward to your five year update in November 2029!
LOL, me too! Cool you're starting on a new XHSib! They're so much fun to fade.
@Oaktavia cheers! Yes, I do love these jeans! And also, they're holding up really well! I wouldn't be surprised if I'm still wearing them in another 5 years. In any case, I'll keep you updated.

@denimdad cheers, I'm at 287 wears to be exact!
Yes, I do find them quite hot. The fabric has a tight weave so it doesn't breathe as well as others. On warm days, I find my 777s-21 more comfortable than these.
@RubyRae thanks! They make some great pieces for sure.
@RubyRae That is a stunning flannel, I can't believe I missed that one. Do you remember what season this was?
@RJScheuerle good to hear your efforts paid off!
@RJScheuerle mine were also very tight when new. There was some stretch after a few wears but not as much as with the flagship 21 oz.
If they're still uncomfortable after a week or so, you could try more extreme measures to stretch them. Some around here have used car jacks for instance--apparently those can do wonders, as long as you're careful.
Wow! You always have some of the best fades around, @twin !
