IHSH-196- Indigo Check Western Shirt

@dishelveled , very nice . The length looks little longer on you or maybe the picture

Could be; Noticed the sleeves needed cuffing, but that's how I tend to roll. I'll check the tape vs a couple of other IH westerns.

@appfaff , nice fitting , did you find XL shoulder and chest matched IHUK measurements ?
Don’t you wear xxl?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hey Man, my measures were ever slightly larger (like 0.1-0.3 in most dimensions) than the chart, but that was my request as I had a feeling the XXL would have been too large. I wear a XXL in the Super heavy stuff and most outerwear due to layering, and a XL is most of the lighter kit. Obviously certain items I wear Large in and others I wear XXXL in - it's all about trusting the measures, not the tagged size.

She's a beauty.

Went with my usual XL and so glad I did. Couldn't have squeezed into a Large. Shirt looks longer in the fit pic than it is in person for some reason.

Best looking plaid IH shirt ever in my opinion. Very very nice. I'm not home so I had mine diverted to the UPS store. I'll get it tomorrow.

I agree that this is quite possibly the best IH plaid. I missed this 196 train. Congrats to everyone who got one. This'll definitely be another future IH classic, along with the 180. I'd love to see a re-run. Based on the way the 196 and 180 sold so quickly, IH winner with this plaid design.

Thanks man. Don't get me wrong, the shirt is definitely on the long side which is what I prefer….but it looks s bit exaggerated in the photo. Not sure if it's the mirror and the fact I'm wearing the 555's which have a high rise and very slim thigh.
Great shirt though, IH killed it once again. The colors just absolutely pop and it looks great with OD jeans.

MOP snaps look great @Dstauffer

I know it is unlikely, but I hope this fabric gets sewn up into a workshirt.

So some of you guys know that I'm weird and habitually iron (w/ steam) all of my IH gear. I prefer the crisp look on my shirts and jeans, and learned years ago that high heat and a little steam can counteract the slight shrinkage that continuous washing can bring to your favorite gear.
While I do not always see increases in measurements after an iron (w/ steam), I notice that the flannels almost always have a good bit of room to grow, especially after a wash.
For those of you guys in between sizes, and don't want to have to dry on hot, here is my IHSH-196 XL sizing brand new, and after a hot steam iron.
I do not guarantee that I measure exactly as IHUK does, but I consistently measure all of gear the same way, so the sizing differences in before and after are not due to measuring differently, although my measures may not coincide exactly with what IHUK provides.
IHSH-196 XL:
Shoulders: 19.185 -> 19.185
P2P: 23.325 -> 23.65
Opening: 22.4 -> 22.6
Length: 30.5 -> 30.625
Sleeve: 26.75 -> 27hope this helps someone along the way!

Shoulders and P2P are definitely roomier than the IHUK measurements.
