I think I need your help. 4 days later, it's not at the UPS drop off as promised. I don't know where to go @Madame Buttonfly . I appreciate your help.

As much as it pains me to say this, I will have to move mine on.
I nabbed the brown. The color and fabric are fantastic; all that I had hoped for. Shoulder, sleeve, chest all work well. But, the modified length isn't going to do it for me. I knew this may be an issue, but I thought it would be worth a try, anyway. After all, this was a grail item for me. Shoulder, chest, and arm length put me squarely in XXXL territory. But, while I'm about 6'2", I'm far more leg than body. I requested one with shortest body length possible, and it still extends well past my waist, roughly to the bottom of my fly.
Unfortunately, for me, I'm just going to have to give up on modified type IIIs, completely. Thanks again to the IH crew for their service. I'll be putting it on the BST thread, for a week or so, for anyone in the US who may be interested. If not, I'll be returning it to the UK. There is another jacket I've had my eye on, and it may very well suit me better.

Thanks @gaseousclay , thanks @Dstauffer!…and thanks regarding the beard. I love it too but get some shit here and there from the fellas about all the premature grey in it but eff it, I'm rollin with it. Wouldn't even think about dyeing it.
This jacket is fucking fantastic. I wasn't sure about all the prerelease hype but this thing.easily lives up to it. Don't sleep on it peeps. You can't go wrong with any color but khaki is at the top for me. Of course now I'm debating getting a black.

Damn, sorry to hear. If it was XXL I'd take it off your hands.

Absolutely nothing wrong with grey in the old crumb catcher. If anything, I think a beard looks worse when it's been dyed because it's so obvious
But yes, the ihj-69 is insanely cool. I love how velvety it feels.

I'm sorry, too. I had sooooo been looking forward to this release. I received it Monday, and I've been deliberating non stop since. I'm just afraid I'll let it bother me too much to wear it as much as I planned. Damn this wonky body.

Went with XXXL. Same as my 526jod. Love this thing. Gonna throw it in for a warm wash hang dry to see if it tightens up a slight notch.

Absolutely agree.

@manufc10 Dude, the gray in your beard looks amazing…seriously adds a nice touch of "epic-ness" to it. Be proud and own that shit!
Thank you for the kind words @Dstauffer !

Looks good @setandsetting. Is that the black one in the background too or is that an OD type III?

That’s the 526jod drying after a wash.

I was worried that this was exactly what was going to happen to me too. Have you thought of trying a big XXL?

I would definitely give an XXL a go. Spec for the shoulders would work, but it would have to be a bit larger in the chest, and somewhere closer to 26" in length. Of course, the XXL in brown are all sold out, and with the limited number produced, I think the chances of acquiring one would be slim-to-none, unfortunately.

I’m sure some will pop up in the for sale threads or there might be some returns. It’s worth keeping an eye out. I’m by no means small and the XXL worked out pretty good.
