Jacket is pips and gravy. As per usual with IH, sized up and happy. 3XL. I'm 6'2"/200, but broad shoulders and arms. Glad the khaki is sold out, otherwise would pick that one up, too.

Pretty much every fit in this thread is killer. Especially the chocolates, IMO. Wish I had been able to grab one.

Alright guys, I didn't want to do this but I need some advice. I'm one of those lucky individuals that always gets stuck between sizes on IH stuff. In this case, between a M and a L.
I tend to stick to what I feel is the intended slimmer fit on the type III jackets and the medium gives me that but I wonder if it's a little too slim. The large, on the other hand, serves as a great jacket without being too large, but I lose that slim fit that I tend to associate with the type III.
I can button the medium but not very well. I can button the large pretty easily. I honestly don't plan on ever buttoning them in actual use.
Here's some terrible pics of my indecision.

Large all the way.

Agree with the Large vote.

As do I.

I don't plan on layering with this jacket, just a t-shirt underneath, so I don't really need extra room, but it's such a great jacket that I almost want to hold onto both. Due to the way the 2 sizes fit, it's almost like 2 different jackets.
The large does seem more practical because I could layer, or not, and the length makes it work with everything.
Regarding the length, the bottom of the jacket on the medium goes past my belt line but yeah, it took a bit for me to get used to the shorter type III length.
I'm going to sleep on it tonight and decide in the morning.

I did this with the OD M65, kept a L and an XL.
