It occurred to me today that it doesn’t seem as much like a lighter version of the 21oz denim like I expected, but rather a lighter version of the 25oz. The weave is a little tighter like the 25oz, and therefore it’s a bit more rigid for a while and takes longer to break in than the 21oz.

Do you find it stretches out/relaxes slower that the 21oz?

Definitely. The 142 denim seems to not have a lot of stretch. Huge difference compared to the 21oz.

I can confirm it is a tough beast despite being ''only'' 14 oz. Huge difference from the first iteration.

@neph93 I also agree with Dion and classic that the 14oz V 2.0 stretches out slower than the 21oz. It's not your typical 14oz but then I'm sure you already knew that.

Recently acquired from Iron Heart Forum »The Marketplace »Buying and Selling a pair of IH-777 142 jeans. I previously had 777's in 21oz but found them too tight in the thigh so thought I'd give the lighter weight version a try and so far so good
