You got it bro. Humid wet weather here is delaying the drying of these HEAVY jeans. Will measure as soon as they dry

For y’all. -
Looking great @Matty123 . It's nice to be agitated, HaHa.

Thanks Sam. Hope you’re well and not too hot over at JFK. Been hot here lately.
@ROman -
Idk… that makes me a little Too nervous. Especially with a denim this dark. I would hate to F them up. These might be a one off for all I know. Gonna try 140F water first

555 coming in this denim in November/ December. Careful what you wish for.
I’m a reckless wisher.
Do you have one of those dryer drying racks? Or is it a combo of the tumbling and heat that helps with shrinkage?

Agitation and heat together cause the shrinkage. But you can create that with hand washing or in a washing machine. Tumble drying is very effective at shrinking but the heat can be damaging to cotton fibres and depending on the denim, the movement and creasing may very well create permanent abrasion lines. Air drying is the best.

@neph93 hey Reuben. In your post about your 888uhr did u say that hemmed them shorter than usual due to the higher rise?
I ask because the rose on these is even higher than my 888NT so I think I may hem them shorter than usual. And thanks for the advise in drying. You sage you.
@Jett129 hey bud. Thank for the offer. I will def give you a heads up on any visit to NYC. I’m only an hour away but don’t get there as often as I used to.
-
Not because of the higher rise but because the taper from the wider top block made my usual light stacking look weird. It spoilt the silhouette of the jean. Taking away an inch made the stacking less pronounced and the silhouette more flattering. I’m at the gym but I should be able to find you before and after pics later.

Flexing in the mirror no doubt

Ok, Thanks bro. I can’t wait to have these ready to wear. I had them hemmed long at IH because we weren’t sure how the new denim would shrink and I didn’t want to ruin them. So I will have to send them out to indigo proof for a final hemming
Flex on!
