Great job @spitfiredealer
Seems I need an Indigo Wabash CPO now…..
You are fast, but this is faster: 12oz. Tear Down!

Got a little dirty today. I reckon there has to be some fades under that dirt!!

Fresh out the wash.

Impressive!!!

Still wearing this daily. It's showing some real signs of wear. Looking forward to giving it another wash soon.
Some pics of where we are working at the moment.
Converted barn on a lovely farm with great views. -

Working in your work gear does it every time. I think @spitfiredealer has the perfect gig for this too as stone, concrete, gravel, dirt and wood have just the right level of abrasiveness to strip indigo out of cotton.

I always work in my gear. Teaching doesn’t seem to have the same effect though. [emoji12]

Sorry, should have been clearer, I meant work, not «work» [emoji23]
I know exactly what you mean though. I can start wearing a new pair of 21oz in September at the start of my teaching year and they’ll be only mildly altered by the time outdoor DIY season starts the following June. One week of carpentry, construction and earth-moving and I’ve trebled the evo.

You got it spot on mate. This work just makes the indigo fall off in front of my eyes.
It has also taught me that washing is not to be feared. If you are active enough you can wash whenever you want and still have great fades. -

Yup. It’s all about the abrasion. Indigo is practiacally insoluble in water so the idea that washing or soaking «sets» the indigo or spreads it out over the denim is bs anyway.
At any rate, this shirt is going to be legendary.

Just another couple of pics

This got a well deserved wash this week. So here are some clean pics

This reminds me that I should wear my new wabash shirt more often. I travel all the time so I am selective about what shirts I travel with because they make my suitcase overweight.
