No dilemma! Get some 25oz on your legs. There is nothing wrong with the 14oz, it’s great in fact. But XHS is next level denim for enthusiasts. Of course, you should score the 14oz a short while later, if only for the experience of contrast [emoji1]

Got these tapered. I think they look way better.

I agree. I prefer 8” LO on mine and since I size for thighs on all pants I end up tapering and taking the waist in on most.

almost 3 weeks wearing these on and off. fits me like a glove after the taper and hem. honey comb fades starting to appear already. i wish the rise was an inch shorter, but not bothered by it.
i can't wait for the XHS in this cut.

Have you had an stretch in the waist past the pre soak measurements! I’m in between sizes and really need about 35in on the waist and the 36 I’m almost positive I won’t be happy with. I took the 888sOD in 35 fit well.

That might be at the outer limits of what you can expect but doable. The XHS won’t stretch as readily as the 21oz but you’ll get an at least inch from post soak. Bare in mind that these don’t shrink the whole inch in the waist. More like half an inch.
Edit: my advice would be to measure the waist of your 888S-OD as they are now, the same way IHUK measure, then work it out from there.
