contrast stitching on the 634 and 666 cuts
What about stitching on the 888 - contrast or tonal?
-
-
Warp and weft fade correct? I'm sold on the bxb. now just trying to figure out if I need a pair of these tonal ones too!

Tonal on 555/777/888
F***!!! I was hoping for contrast stitching on the 888. I'm not really into tonal stitching… depending on measurements it might be the 634 for me...
-
I’m stoked about the tonal stitching on the 777. Probably my next pair. Tonal stitching looks a bit monochrome at first but once the denim starts fading it’s awesome.

Shrink test results are in. I think these are equivalent to a tag 32:
Fresh out of the brown bag
After a 3 h soak with hottest tap water, no agitation + machine washed @ 40° C with 1200 spin
To my surprise the water stayed almost clear after their soak (e.g. SBG turns the water completely pitch-black, SII completely blue). They also became pretty stiff but softened up pretty quickly. I didn't expect them to lose this amount in length but they're still good to go. There is some shrinkage left in this fabric so one can either squeeze out more out of it by applying higher temps or less by using less harsh washing methods.

Can't wait for that flannel. Western for me! Oyyyyy

Very cool! This is probably the combo/cut i'm going for (at least) Good to see there isn't shrinkage on the thigh, which to me can be the make or break factor. Anyways, looking forward to seeing more evo pics!

An update on the fabric: Stretching it is harder than expected but doable. It will just take longer. The new 14 oz is a beast (no surprise, though, it still has IH DNA all over it). I have the feeling it is pretty tightly woven and stays pretty rigid and stiff even after soaking and washing. Therefore it is warm and I would also say the 21 oz beats it in terms of wearability during warmer weather due to its much looser weave.

The 16oz Vintage denim is the best hot-weather IH denim IMHO.
