IHSH-235-MOC - 13oz Military Serge Western Shirt - Mocha
-
Is there any shrinkage to be expected with this fabric?
-
Thanks, sorry if I missed that somewhere. I theoretically could fit in the 3x or 4x but since it's already washed once I will probably go with the 3x.
-
How does this compare weight wise to the 724 shorts?

This is 13oz so a touch heavier than the shorts

Not sure I can pull it off with the sizing, but I'm going to try out an XXL

Last Day of classes, the first day of this wonderful shirt. By the way, I think this fabric is amazing. Even though it's 13 ounces, I think it will work in the warmer months of the year.

It is a beauty and you combine it well. I’ll be interested to see how that last prediction of yours works out. I’m afraid your love for the shirt and the euphoria of the coming holidays may have adversely affected your otherwise impeccable judgement.

Haha. @neph93 you may be right. Considering everyone thinks my IH-33 is a jacket and not a shirt, I might not know how to judge when to wear IH gear. Time will tell in deed. Has this fabric been used before? A green version of this shirt, maybe the color of the jacket I'm wearing in the pic, would look awesome.

Any chance of an XL restock?
-
Is this shirt "different enough" than IHSH-234-CAM to warrant owning both?
Or, is there anyone out there that owns them both?
-
I don’t own either, but I’ve seen and handled both irl. At one point I was considering which to buy, but both sold in my size before I pulled the trigger. I think if you like the colour and can stretch to it, then why not do both?
The fabrics are very different, the kersey being the more textured, rougher and more therefore more casual material. The serge has a more even hand and is smarter. People often have many black or indigo shirts, so why not multiple camel/mocha, if it moves you?

I've tried my hand on the XXL and then XL… Sadly neither fit me well, a crying shame as I really wanted this shirt ::)
An XL is on it's way back to Gosport soon.
