is that the black Ignition waffle ?
No sir, that is the standard IH one (IHTL-1301). I got the white Ignition waffle. It is in the wash now but get a pic up next time I wear it.

Would like to see it, and how it compares to the IH one in your opinion.

Great kit @dinobarnesberlin and a tasty looking ‘bab. Also, thanks to yourself and @den1mhead for the kind words.
With regards to the waffle knits, the differences are not enormous. The cut and sizing is slightly different (I take an M in the IHTL-1301 and an L in the Ignition version, for a snug fit on both) The materials seems to have a similar weight and heft, but the Ignition one seems to have a slightly larger pattern, feels softer, and fluffier, but also has a slightly tighter weave. The result is that they keep their form for longer between washes.
I’ve been collecting IH waffle knits for the six years I’ve been buying from them and they form the backbone of my upper body wardrobe. I wear them under shirts in the winter and under vests and light jackets in the spring and autumn. They also work as sweaters on a summer evening. The Ignition ones are a welcome addition to the collection and I may well pick up a black one or a logo’ed one as well.

thanks @neph93 and the 'bab' is one of the best in Berlin.
Thats really good info on the waffle knits. I will start to venture into that world of IH more in the future.
They really seem to be a go-to piece as far as versatility goes–-almost like the Swiss Army Knife of garments.two shirts and a jacket and they've all been XL up till now. Im thinking of sizing down in these.
You sir, are a wealth of knowledge -
thanks @neph93

Gentlemen, now I’m blushing, stop it… red really isn’t my colour
@dinobarnesberlin I take XL in most shirts and jackets, you’ll want an L in the IH waffle knits for sure. Possibly an XL in the Ignition one, depending in how you like to wear these things. I’ll get a fit pic of my L up as soon as it is clean.

Good style @dinobarnesberlin ! Making me want that Type 3 even though the heat is scorching here in the desert already.

Im thinking that I will be wearing it as an undershirt mostly, layering it under a shirt or jacket..so maybe an L.
Gonna wait to see your fit pics–"red really isn't my color"
@Palmer thanks –yea, you might have to wait till it cools off

@den1mhead love the outfit and the hat is boss. If we meet up in Gosport again you need to bring it. I have to have a photo op in it at the least.
@motojobobo with his daily, and entirely successful, attempt at killing it…
