IHSH-264-NAV - Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt - Navy/Black
-
To all the UHF pros, how much does the chest and shoulder shrink after a few washes? I'm usually a size medium in all IH shirts, but I worry the UHF will shrink to the point that it starts pulling at the snap buttons. Then I would just look silly.
If you wash on 30C and air dry then there will be zero to minimal shrinkage. If you wash hotter you will lose around 1cm/ half an inch in the chest and shoulders. More in length. The safe bet would be to buy a large and hot wash it. I personally take the same size and wash carefully.
Either way use the compare function and check the dims against an IH shirt you own. These come up a shade smaller than many IH shirts, so L may be best anyway.

Just placed an order.
Waiting to hear back about confirmation.
Adrenaline rush in full effect–-Confirmed

You have no idea how much I am looking forward to this
Placed a beast of an order….Just crossing my fingers that my girlfriend will be working when its delivered.
Not that it would cause any problems---but in these Rona times, less is more--as in drama.
Is it wrong that we are in month 7 of 2020 and I still have a few items left on my " To Buy" list?

Just picked this up. It might be 80 degrees in Los Angeles but I’m dressing for the weather I want, not the weather I have.

Even if its only in the early mornings–or late evenings when it cools off...this one will fit right in.
It looks very " Californian " -

You’d do well in northern Norway. Folks here wear shorts because the calendar says May. The average temp in May is 7C.
Gives a whole new meaning to aspirational dressing.

@neph93 there should be a program where people in cool cimilates can switch houses with people in warmer climates in order to wear the clothing they desire. If I had my way, I wouldn't ever wear shorts, but I say that as someone who could probably wear them year-round.

Interesting idea… I'd probably decline. I tend to have a holiday in a warmer climate once a year. The only reason for doing that is to experience a different culture, food, scenery, food and food. The temps are largely irrelevant. Because food.
As far as shorts are concerned it is one of my favourite things about Norway that I can avoid them entirely. I deeply fear global warming, not least for the havoc it will wreak on my comfortable short-less existence. The closest I come to shorts is rolling up my IH-814's. This only happens if the temp is over 25C.

First UHF and it’s everything I thought it would be.
Now if the weather would just cool down -
I tried to forget my first just once–-but not in this case
